Mixed feelings

I think this is just what I have been looking for but very disappointed that it does not sync between iPhone and iPad..Is this something that is coming soon?

So easy to use, and fun!

This app is super easy to navigate and use. It makes keeping a food diary simple and almost fun!

Excellent way to track reactions to food!

This app makes it easy to track your reactions to food. It saves recipes and remembers your favorites for each meal. You can turn off tracking for certain foods and even enter sleep, exercise and bowel movements. Its great as is but features that would make it even better are: the ability to track mealtimes as a possible cause of symptoms (I.e. Eating at 9pm always causes x) And the lack of vitamins or medication as a cause. (I.e. When you dont take x you have problems)

Very complete

Complete and easy to use. I found I just wasnt using lesser apps. This one has great ease-of-use, and completeness, which means I actually use it.

Horrible

What a waist of $2.99. The app has so few foods in their database, and none of the symptoms I experience.

Off to a good start

After trying a hand written food diary for quite some time, I was keen to see if the statistical analysis by this app would offer any greater insights. The GUI could use a few touch ups where icons get close together, but once you get the swing of things its not much more onerous than a paper diary. The key is to keep it with you always and make your entries when they occur, if possible. My diary needs to include more days before I can make any meaningful comment on the statistical analysis. I agree with other reviews, in that a more robust core food library would be helpful in getting things setup easily and correctly.

I dont know of anything else like this. Its very useful for tracking my migraines, and lots of other stuff that I never would think to pay attention to.

Excellent

I use it daily to track food tolerances related to IBS. You can add your medications, foods, symptoms very easily that suit your own personal needs. Great app! Would love it if this app saved to the icloud and information could be accessed by other devices rather than having to email system files back and forth.

Works as I had hoped it would!

The app is effectively helping me nail down some food sensitivities, for which I am very grateful.

Best that found so far

This is the best so far found... But food types are really lacking. You have to enter every ingredient in for every food. Something to make this amazing would be: - updating database to include all ingredients for common name brand things - adding nutrition and calories - adding amounts because intolerances can be triggered by an amount and not every time if little bit... - adding some type of activity tracker (Suggest to lock into a company like Fitbit and combine their food info and they incorporate your symptoms analysis tools.) Right now because no one has all these features I use 3 trackers to figure out what is going on.... Keep trying for this is the best on symptoms I have found! Thank you!

Onerous and incomplete.

The ui is not easy. And its missing basic foods like green beans. I was a bit surprised given all the high ratings.

Easy to list foods, but it was unable to recognize one bar code I scanned.

Love it

I have found this app to give me just what I needed to track what I eat and how I am feeling. I have stomach problems and this app gives me the tools to monitor what I eat and my symptoms.

Very helpful!

I have found it helpful and easy to use. Wish I could store the data in iCloud so I could sync between devices. As it is, I only have to remember to only log data on my phone.

Helpful but little cumbersome

The app takes a bit of learning. It was mostly intuitive for me but my sisters family was completely frustrated. I find myself pushing the wrong buttons a lot and being asked over and over if i want to add a food. I do like that it has learned some of my foods and has those pretty readily available. I find that the food category confuses my analysis and many items get lumped into a category like fruit which doesnt do me a lot of good because i eat some kind of fruit every day. I am very appreciative of what you have created. As always there are things you can change as you understand needs. The app can be very helpful so thank you, I need desperately to be able to identify patterns that are affecting my health.

Very helpful app

Great for journaling. It could use an add function to things such as categories and symptoms. Not a lot in the cloud database but that leaves me to put in exactly what Ive had and is there for the future. Overall Im pleased and will continue to use this app.

A much needed app with some room for improvement

I have faith in this app, despite the high upfront investment in quality database entries, as other reviewers have mentioned. I’d also love a CSV export of my food log so that I can compare my food intake to data I track in other sources.
